An historically accurate short film that Foxhole Militaria supports.

With military consultant for film and TV Andy Robertshaw and a team of living historians and non-actors, the focus will be of telling a story that is more like manipulated documentary than drama.

The story is of cameraman Geoffrey Malins, the man who helped to film The Battle of the Somme. We follow Malins on his journey on the first day of the battle, and through our lens we will see through his: the faces, the trenches and the battle.

We look to recreate those iconic scenes from the original film and fill the gaps as accurately as possible says Ross Barnwell.
